At the end of the year, our team went on a group outing that offered just the right mix of nature, local experiences, and relaxed socializing.

We traveled by bus to Pekel Cave, where we enjoyed a delicious picnic in the open air before entering the cave. The pleasant forest setting was a perfect introduction to the day and a great start to our shared adventure. This was followed by a visit to the magical karst cave, which impressed us with its stunning stalactites, mysterious underground formations, and unique atmosphere. Walking through this subterranean world left many of us speechless and offered a chance to step away from the everyday for a moment. (Pekel Cave)

Next, we visited Clef Brewery in Arja Vas, where we were warmly welcomed and treated to a tasting of their intriguing craft beers. Known for its connection between beer and music and its wide range of signature brews, Clef Brewery provided excellent flavors and an authentic beer experience in a cozy setting. We also had the opportunity to chat about beer culture and enjoy the aromas of local Savinja hops (Clef Brewery). 

The day concluded at the Pri Mlinarju Farm Stay in Gotovlje, where we were greeted with a warm atmosphere and a delicious dinner. In the friendly, family-run environment, we enjoyed homemade dishes and live music, reflecting on the year and sharing plenty of laughs over good conversation (Farmstay Pri Mlinarju)

This outing was not just about exploring interesting places and tasting local specialties — it was an opportunity to connect, relax, and create wonderful memories together. Laughter, conversation, and even a little dancing made for a truly perfect end to the year.

Last week, EMO FRITE had the pleasure of welcoming 8th-grade students from Glazija Primary School Celje, who visited our production facilities as part of their technical days and learned how our products are made. The visit was part of their five-day technical program, during which students explored various areas of knowledge and practical work – from first aid training to creative workshops, and finally, an insight into the world of industrial production.

After a brief introduction to our company and its activities, the students, guided by our colleagues, took part in a guided tour of the production plant. They observed the entire process – from raw materials to the final frits and enamels – and discovered the importance of precision, knowledge, and teamwork in every step.
A particularly memorable moment was when they were able to witness the frit smelt flowing from the furnace – an event we timed especially for their visit. The students’ enthusiasm and curiosity were contagious, and their thoughtful questions showed that technical days can be an excellent inspiration for future career paths.

At EMO FRITE, we understand how important it is to introduce young people to the world of technology, research, and creativity. We are always glad to participate in initiatives that connect schools with industry and provide students with a firsthand experience of real production environments.

At the end of the visit, both students and teachers agreed that such experiences are truly valuable – for young people discovering the world of professions, and for us, who see in them the future of technical and scientific fields.

Our company participated on September 11, 2025, in the Strategic Business Forum: Uzbekistan, held at Hotel Lev in Ljubljana. The event was organized by SPIRIT Slovenia and was aimed at Slovenian companies already operating in, or looking to explore, business opportunities in Uzbekistan.

The forum offered companies an in-depth insight into Uzbekistan’s business environment, legislation, investment incentives, and support instruments. Our company took advantage of the opportunity to:

• exchange experiences with Uzbek and Slovenian experts,
• establish new business contacts,
• gather information on investment and export opportunities.

Participants included representatives from institutions, investment agencies, and financial organizations from both countries. A special honor was attending the speeches of His Excellency Mr. Aybek Shakhavdinov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Slovenia, and representatives of the Uzbek Investment Agency. The afternoon session was dedicated to informal networking during the WTA Zavarovalnica Sava Ljubljana international tennis tournament, creating a pleasant atmosphere for discussions and connections.

Participation in the forum was a valuable opportunity for our company to deepen its knowledge of the Uzbek market, establish new contacts, and explore business opportunities. The event confirmed the importance of actively seeking new opportunities in Central Asia and strengthening international business relations.

We are proud to announce that in October 2025 we will be speaking at the Polish Enamel Congress, organized by SPPE – Polish Enamel Industry Association.

The congress is not only an opportunity to expand knowledge, but also a place where leading experts, researchers, manufacturers, and enamel enthusiasts come together. Enamel is not just a material – it is both tradition and the future. This event is an ideal opportunity to build new business relationships, strengthen cooperation, and exchange practical experiences from the enamel world.
